MY WALK WITH GOD WOULD LOOK A LOT DIFFERENT IF I WERE NOT WALKING WITH YOU.
As I look back over the past 14 years of GENESIS being a church, I’ve grown in how I think about and relate with God. My love for Him, His Word and His ways have all increased. To be clear, I’ve not arrived by any stretch of the imagination but I do know this… I’m not where I once was and so much of that has to do with all of you.
This is the beauty of the local church… we are not alone! God has given us one another to help one another keep walking with God. He has given us one another to encourage, bless and build each other up. Here’s the thing, when you made the decision to follow Jesus, God not only opened heaven’s gates to you… He opened up His family to you. If we’d experience life with God in the way God intends, it will be with and through His family.
And as we all know, family can be complicated. There is no ‘perfect family’ but here’s the thing… we have a “Perfect Father’ who has invited and called us to be part of His family. And because of the family that I’ve had with GENESIS over the past 14+ years, I’ve experienced and encountered God in unimaginable ways. So thank you! Thank you for helping me to experience God in ways I would have otherwise missed if it were not for you.
