How will you navigate the next 328 days?
Over the past 21 days you have been intentional in cultivating your life of prayer, but how will you go about that over the next 328 days?
21 Days of Prayer will begin again on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 – exactly 328 days from now. My heart and hope for you (me as well) is that when we arrive at Day #1 in 2023, we will not need those 21 Days of Prayer to shock our prayer life back into existence. Rather, I hope we’ll all arrive having countless stories of all that God did in and through a people who were utterly convinced that prayer moves the heart of God while changing ours along the way.
I don’t know all that God has for you over the next 328 days, but I do know this – prayer will keep you in step with what the LORD wants to do in and through your life.
If you’d see continued growth and transformation in your life – it won’t happen apart from prayer. If you’d see loved ones who are currently far from God begin a relationship with God – that won’t happen apart from prayer. If you’d see relationships restored and reconciled – it won’t happen apart from prayer. If you’d see God move in your neighborhood, your place of work or study – it won’t happen apart from prayer.
It’s not an exaggeration to say that prayer is everything. Maybe better stated, prayer unlocks the ‘everything’ that God has for you and me. I’ve got a long way to go, and much to learn as it relates to prayer, but I do know this – God wants us to see Him be God. And prayer puts us in places where we get to see His power and provision, His goodness and glory.
Will you keep going… will you keep praying?
And if you haven’t started yet… will you start praying?
The invitation was to pray first… will you keep that rhythm moving forward?
At noon, alarms went off reminding us to stop and pray for GENESIS… will you keep that alarm set?
Please know that as you navigate the next 328 days, you will not travel alone – we are in this journey of prayer together. When Jesus was teaching His disciples to pray, He said –
“Pray like this: Our Father…” Matthew 6:9
God is not just my Father and God is not just your Father. God is OUR Father. When you pray today and over the next 328 days, please remember that prayer unites our hearts to our Father while uniquely knitting our hearts together.
On Day #22, I’m giving thanks to God for you GENESIS! I’m giving thanks to God in advance for ALL He will allow us to see and be part of as together we ‘never stop praying.’
