We live in New England which means it will SNOW! But what happens if it snows on a Saturday night into Sunday morning... will GENESIS still gather for worship?
HERE'S HOW THE DECISION IS MADE:
On Sunday at 4AM, some very kind folks from our leadership team hit the roads to see what the roads are like. What we're specifically looking at are the main roads and highways plowed and safe to travel on? Are the parking lots that GENESIS make use of plowed? Answers to these questions play a major role in determining what changes will be made if any to our Sunday schedule.
If there is a change to be made, that decision gets made by 5:00AM. Why so early? Well, some of our volunteers arrive at GENESIS by 6AM in preparation for the 9AM gathering. So, we need to communicate to those TEAM MEMBERS as early as we can.
Our hope is that we don't need to cancel any gatherings, but if we deem it not safe or wise to travel to GENESIS then we will not hesitate to cancel our in-person worship gatherings. In times past we've canceled the first worship gathering in order to give the plows more time to do their thing and give our TEAM members extra time to arrive at GENESIS safely. But, if the storm is New England bad, and the roads are in poor shape, we will cancel both gatherings.

If there is a change to our Sunday schedule, here's how we'll communicate that:

- GENESIS Social media channels (Facebook & Instagram)
