After 12+ years of gathering at 35 Olympia Ave., our FINAL Sunday is upon us. It would be impossible to encapsulate in words just how much this space has meant to me… has meant to everyone that has called GENESIS home.
There are countless stories of men, women, students, and children experiencing the power and presence of God at 35 Olympia Ave. From the moment we first ‘toured’ the space, there was something special about this warehouse that was ‘flipped’ into a space where people would encounter Jesus.

That would be what the OPEN SPACE looking into the Sanctuary once looked like. Not only did we see a transformation of a space… but the LORD allowed us to see the TRANSFORMATION of MANY lives.
As I’ve been praying and preparing for one more worship gathering at 35 Olympia Ave., here’s what the LORD impressed on my heart… and consequently, here’s what I wrote in my journal…
I’M NOT DONE
Have we seen the LORD move in mighty ways thus far? YES… 100% YES! So, rather than approaching this Sunday with a sense of sadness, I’m approaching this Sunday with a FULL heart knowing…
THE LORD IS NOT DONE.
Whether you’ve been a part of GENESIS for a week, a month, a year, or a decade+, I truly believe that ALL of us can celebrate the work of God in our midst. But what puts a smile on my face… and yes, I’m smiling right now as I type these words… THE LORD IS NOT DONE.
As we approach this Sunday, we clearly have MUCH to celebrate but just so you know, we have even more to LOOK FORWARD TO.
I clearly do not know all that the LORD has in store for us as we transition to gathering at Woburn Memorial High School beginning on Sunday, August 31st, but I do know this…
THE LORD HAS MORE FOR ALL OF US
What is that more?
More of God’s power.
More of God’s presence.
More of God’s peace.
More people walking with God.
More people helping others walk with God.
More transformed lives.
More transformed relationships.
More of His Word.
More of His healing.
More of His love.
More of His joy.
More of His Spirit.
More baptisms.
In short, more men, women, students, and children experiencing what God created us all to experience… FRIENDSHIP WITH HIM.
