369 days ago (that would be Friday, December 27th, 2024), I sent my final email of 2024 to the GENESIS community. And in that email, I invited you all to pray a very specific prayer request. Here’s what that prayer request was…
“LORD, if this property is what you have set aside for GENESIS, then allow the proposed purchased price to go through… allow us to find favor in the eyes of this ownership group.”

GOD ANSWERS PRAYER!
For me, the ONE prayer I’ll be praying for GENESIS throughout these 21 Days of Prayer is for GOSPEL UNITY. GENESIS has gone through A LOT of change and transition in 2025. Change is good and so is transition, but ‘good’ does not always translate to easy. So, I will be praying that God would continue to UNITE our hearts around His Heart… His Mission… His Plans… His Purposes.
And for me personally, I’ll be praying for GOSPEL GROWTH. Specifically, praying that in 2026, I would continue to see the Gospel of Jesus shape me as a man, a husband, a father, a friend, a son, a brother, a neighbor, and a pastor. I am a work -in-progress, but I’ll be praying that the Gospel of Jesus would grow in me in new ways so that I might look a little bit more like Jesus 365 days from now.
