PRAYER IS THE BETTER WAY.
As we all know, there are so many ways in which we can navigate a day and all that comes at us… stress, anger, fear, control, and worry just to name a few. Well, I hope and pray that the needle has moved just a bit towards seeing that PRAYER IS THE BETTER WAY because through prayer, we encounter and experience God’s presence, peace, and power.
Before we say goodbye to this season of 21 Days of Prayer, I have just one more thing to share with you… just one more thing to hopefully encourage you with…
GOD HAS MORE FOR YOU… FOR ME.
I love our annual 21 Days of Prayer because through these seasons, I get to experience and encounter God in new and fresh ways. And to be honest with you, I have ALL of you, the GENESIS Community, to thank for that!
Very specifically, the PRAYER NIGHTS at GENESIS have been such a blessing to my heart and soul. Seeing and hearing so many people pour their hearts out to God has served to solidify for me, and I hope for you too that…
GOD HAS MORE FOR YOU… FOR ME.
In more ways than one, 21 Days of Prayer has served as an appetizer to what I believe God has for you and me moving forward. And the reason I believe that God has more for ALL of us is because God is INEXHAUSTIBLE. To say that God is ‘inexhaustible’ is to say that we’ll never get to the end of experiencing and encountering the fullness of who He is and what He is like. So, to say that GOD HAS MORE is to say that He desires ALL of us to experience —every single day—
more of His love…more grace…
more peace…
more power…
more perspective…
more provision…
more compassion…
more mercy…
more joy.
Through prayer, we get to experience the MORE that God desires to give us every day, all day, in abundance.
If the first 21 Days of January were a HUGE SUCCESS for you… success being defined by meaningful encounters with God through prayer – WELL DONE!
And if the first 21 Days of January was marked by a lack of prayer if not prayerlessness… WELL DONE!
I know it might seem odd to hear ‘well done' after a month of struggling to pray, but I’m just reiterating what I think your good and gracious Heavenly Father would want you to hear.
He is pleased with you.
He is pleased that you prayed.
He is pleased that you thought about praying.
And yes, even if it was one massive struggle to pray, He is still pleased that you want more of Him.
If you’re at all like me, I need the reminder often that God is more pleased with me than I realize. Or to say that another way, you and I are MORE LOVED than we can fathom. Or to say that even one more way…
GOD HAS MORE FOR YOU… FOR ME.
So with that being said, as we conclude this short 21 Day Journey…
KEEP GOING… DON’T STOP!
Through prayer, continue to position yourself in places where you can receive the MORE that God desires to bless you with.
I can’t wait to experience and encounter MORE OF HIM with all of you over the next 345 days… and I’ll be praying that when we hit Day #1 of 2027 (that would be in 345 days), I wholeheartedly believe that we will ALL have countless numbers of stories that start with…
