Defend yourself because no one else will. In fact, when it comes to protecting your name and your rights, do whatever you have to to ensure that you will not be misunderstood, misrepresented or worst of all, taken advantage of. And above all else, when people persecute or perform evil acts against you, whatever you do, don’t reach out to them in love because they are clearly not the kind of people worthy of your love. Whether spoken or unspoken, this is the message that many have bought into and consequently, relationships and lives have been shattered as a result.
