Lifegroups
If you consider GENESIS to be your church home, then we want you to be connected, engaged, and invested in a Lifegroup. Lifegroups are small communities of people gathering throughout the week seeking to learn how to love, serve, study God’s Word, pray and build relationships with others in meaningful and significant ways. Lifegroups are central to the health of GENESIS as a place where relationships are formed, discipleship takes place, and transformation happens.
Lifegroups operate on a trimester system with the expectation that the members of the group will commit to making the weekly meeting a priority during the trimester. Five essential elements make up a Lifegroup. Prayer, bible study and fellowship are inherent in every group meeting. In addition, each Lifegroup is expected to complete at least one service activity, meeting needs within the Genesis community, and at least one mission activity, demonstrating the love of Christ and His gospel by serving those outside of Genesis, per trimester.
