Has this ever happened to you: you’re moving along, doing your thing only to have someone interrupt your rhythm with a request that totally derails you from what you were doing? The words “annoying”, “frustrating” and “offended” come to mind when this happens. But what if the interruption actually was an invitation like none other? Join the GENESIS community this Sunday evening at 6:00 PM as we continue our JESUS series by looking at the interruption and invitation of a lifetime. Every year, Hope Christian Church participates in a Holiday Food Drive for the local food pantry in Woburn. Please consider bringing nonperishable items (fruit juice, boxed mashed potatoes, stuffing, rice, gravy, cake mixes, canned veggies, or a $10 gift card towards the purchase of a turkey) to the church by November 16. You can put them in the back, left corner or the room on Sunday night at GENESIS. If you have any questions, please contact Diane Zickell at dmzickell@verizon.net.
The GENESIS community will gather for worship and prayer on Thursday, November 20 where GENESIS gathers on Sunday evenings.

On Friday, December 5, the leadership community of GENESIS will gather one final time in 2008. This is a mandatory meeting for those currently serving in leadership within GENESIS. The meeting is at 7:00 PM at the Davis’.
What sounds do you hear at Christmas time? The sounds of Christmas are many and varied. Some sounds stand out, while others go unnoticed. This Christmas season you are invited to journey through the Sounds of Christmas with the GENESIS community beginning Sunday, December 7. The sounds you’ll hear along the way will inspire you to see Christmas in a whole new way!

**GENESIS will join Hope Christian Church for a Candlelit Service on Christmas Eve – service time is 5:00 PM**

On Sunday, December 7, the GENESIS community will have the opportunity to voice their interest in being part of GENESIS as a church. This is not “decision day”, rather we are seeking to gauge how many people are sensing a call to help establish GENESIS as a church. There will be a simple and anonymous survey taken with only one question: “If GENESIS church plants, are you sensing a burden to be part of GENESIS as a church – yes or no?” If you have any questions about what will be taking place on the 7th, or would like to answer that now because you will not be at GENESIS that Sunday, please contact Liz Whetstine.
