GENESIS U

At GENESIS, we believe that practical biblical teaching is essential to people walking with and enjoying God.  GENESIS U is an environment where people can learn biblical truths and be trained in how to apply them to how they live.

GENESIS U fall semester will begin on Wednesday, March 8, 2016.  Classes meet at 7PM. These classes will both encourage and equip each learner.  More than just learning, these GENESIS U classes will provide every student the opportunity to build relationships with fellow classmates – relationships that will last long after the class has ended.

THREE COURSE OFFERINGS THIS SPRING:

We believe that we are called to love God, but if we do not know Him, how can we really love Him? Sound, biblical theology impacts every area of our lives and we are excited to dive into the book of 1 Peter together this Spring to learn more about Jesus and the Hope we have because we are in Him.

This class is an attempt to understand how we are shaped by the past. We don’t exist in a vacuum; we are the product of countless faithful people who came before us, who shaped the way we think about God, what the Bible teaches, how followers of Christ should walk with God, what the church is all about, and even what words we use to describe our beliefs. All of this was forged in the past and handed to us to hand to the next generation.

If you would like to understand how you got where you are today, then we must learn what happened in history’s yesterdays. In this class, we are going to explore the past, what they went through, and what little treasures faithful people in the past have littered across history that we might learn from.
