To the 100+ men and women who served at the GENESIS Easter Gatherings this past weekend, I wanted you to know that you made an eternal difference in the lives of all that came! Lives were changed, and God used you in the process.
If you were serving with the Parking Lot Team, God used not only to keep everyone safe in the Parking Lot, but God used your smiling faces greeting people as they came in to plant Gospel seeds.
If you were serving with Facilities, God used you to not only clean and prepare the space for ALL that would come, but God used you to prepare an inviting space where people could see and hear the Gospel message.
If you were serving with GENESIS Kids, God used you to not only make sure that 103 kids had an absolutely amazing time, but God used you to communicate to young hearts and minds that they are absolutely loved by an amazing God.
If you were serving with Connections, God used you to not only welcome people as they came in, answer questions at the Welcome Center, and care for guests in the Living Room, but God used you as a practical demonstration of the God’s love to every person that came.
If you were serving in the GENESIS Café, God used you not only to make hundreds of cups of Coffee throughout the day, but God used you as a tangible expression of God’s care and generosity.
If you served on the Creative Team, God used you to not only reach thousands via Social Media, make amazing stage and spatial designs, incredible video bumpers, provide video support so that everyone could see on 21ft wide screen each person getting baptized along with doing a John 3 monologue that brought Nicodemus to life, but God used you to ensure that the Gospel message was heard and seen throughout the GENESIS space as well as those watching on-line from as far as 3,567 miles away.
If you served on the Worship Team, God used you to not only make our Easter gathering an all-out celebration, but God used you to help people see that God is worthy of worshiping with great joy, passion and conviction.
If you served with Volunteer Care, God used you to not only care for the practical needs of those serving throughout the day by providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, but God used you to bless those who were serving so many so well throughout a very long day.
If you served with Prayer, God used you to not only encourage those who came forward for prayer, but God used you to remind me and anyone else that was watching that NOTHING will be accomplished without a people calling on God in prayer!
In whatever way you served this past Easter, I thank you not only for your service, but I sincerely thank you for being willing to be used by God to make an eternal difference in the lives of all that came. Thank you for not only being generous to share your gifts, talents, skills and abilities with ALL that came, but thank you for saying yes to Jesus… for your yes helped others declare on Easter 2015, ‘I Believe!’
