Nearly 2,000 years ago, God did the ‘Unlikely’ – He showed up. Before He arrived, He revealed His coming to the most ‘Unlikely’ cast of characters with an ‘Unlikely’ message. And when He arrived, well, He came in the most ‘Unlikely’ way. Regardless of how ‘Unlikely’ it all was, when God showed up, He brought with Him Hope, Peace, Joy and Love.
This Christmas Season, GENESIS will celebrate ‘An Unlikely Advent.’ Hope, Peace, Joy and Love – these will be the themes we celebrate this Advent Season. And the good news of Advent is that God is still using ‘Unlikely’ people to bring about Hope, Peace, Joy and Love to a world in desperate need of knowing the God that offers us ALL of this and so much more as we look to Him and Him alone!
- Sunday, December 6th – Two Unlikely Women: The Hope of Mary and Elizabeth.
- Sunday, December 13th – An Unlikely Message: The Angel’s Message Brought Joseph Peace.
- Sunday, December 20th – Some Unlikely Guests: The Joy of the Shepherds and Magi.
- Thursday, December 24th – An Unlikely Child.
- Sunday, December 27th – An Unlikely Enemy: The Love of God and the Hatred of Herod.
Christmas Eve Worship Gatherings will be at 6PM & 7:30PM.
Limited GENESIS Kids will be offered at the 6:00pm Christmas Eve Service for the Garage (6 weeks - walking) and Station (walking - 3 years old) classrooms. All other children are welcome and encouraged to join us with their families in the Sanctuary (coloring pages and a small craft will be available).
